Guild War tips
In guild wars we use our champions to create a defending team of titans and heros. These are placed in various buildings in the guild war map. Click on Guild icon -> Competitions -> Defense. There are 10 buildings split into 2 section, 1st and 2nd. The only way to attack any buildings in the 2nd section is to have defeated the teams in the Bridge. Each building can be defended by either hero or titan teams. As defending the bridge (titan teams) is vital to be able to attack the 2nd section of the war map, it is important to have a strong titan team to defend it.
Each hero or titan team in a building is worth 20 points. Defeating the team gives 20 points and attacking but not defeating the team gives points from 0-19 depending on how well the attack went. Once all teams are defeated within a building, a bonus is given based on the building (bonus = same as all defending team win scores). e.g. Barracks are worth 40 points and Citadel 120 points. There are a maximum of 1200 points (in qualifying, bronze and silver).
The winner of the Guild War is the team who has scored the most points when the guild war ends.
Champions do not have any interaction with defence. All the battles for defenders are auto-attack.
It is important that all players update their hero and champion teams if their strongest lineup has changed. It is possible to do by clicking on Guild icon -> Competitions -> Details -> Defense -> Update team. The champions team is set once a quild war starts so any team changes will not change the defending teams.
The guild master / general can change which guild members are champions before a war starts.
You can attack with either a hero team or a titan team. And you can choose it (unlike defending teams) when you make an attack, similar to Arena and Grand Arena battles. You get two attacks which can be both hero, both titan, or one of each.
As there are only 30 attacks and 30 teams to defeat it’s very important to co-ordinate attacks and lose as few battles as possible. By holding the bridge, the defending team restricts the attacking to a maximum of 320 points (420 in gold league wars) from three out four buildings.
To get the most points possible it’s important to co-ordinate attacks to minimise the chance of losing battles. This means not fighting losing battles (unless the reason is to weaken a defending team). All champions are expected to attack based on advice given from the guild master or general.
In qualifying, bronze and silver leagues, there are 15 champions (30 teams). In gold league there are 20 champions, so 40 teams. In Gold league you automatically qualify for server vs server wars.

Rewards are given at the end of each battle and weekly rewards at the end of each league week. After a battle is completed the winning team will get rewards for all champions and a smaller reward for all guild members. The losing guild will get a smaller reward. Weekly rewards apply to all guild members and are based on league position.
- Gold league guilds get gold war trophies for each battle and gold, silver and bronze trophies at the end of the guild week.
- Silver league guilds get silver war trophies for each battle and silver and bronze trophies at the end of the guild week.
- Bronze league guilds get bronze war trophies for each battle and bronze trophies at the end of the guild week.

All these trophies can be spent in the Guild War shop. It is highly recommended to spent these trophies on titan potions to upgrade titans.
Ideally your will have all 3 super titans (Arajii, Hyperion and Eden) as well as Angus and Nova. If you don’t have all 3 or only have 1 or 2, please check information below.
Angus, Nova, Arajii, Eden, Hyperion
Two Super titans:
Angus, Nova, Ignis, Super 1, Super 2
One Super titan:
Angus, Nova, Ignis, Mairi, Super 1
No Super titans
Angus, Sigurd, Nova, Ignis, Mairi,
Ensure your tank (Angus) is always the highest or equal highest level. Raise the levels of your titans in this order:
Angus, Supers, Nova, non super titans if you don’t have three super titan.

If you have a totem … be SURE to have three titans of that element on your team to activate the totem … Totems are stronger than titans.
Can anyone explain what a totem is? I’ve been playing for weeks and never saw mention of one in this game. My titans have all artifacts and I have all titans.
How long are Guild Wars Active for once they Start ???
Most excellent post man
Ya neither this guild or any other says when Guild wars ends in UTC. Which is kind of important to know if you are running the GW.
What happens during promotion/relegation if they tie? Do they stay where they are or switch?
